Unspent: All's Well That Ends Well
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
And here it comes: the final moments of Unspent. The Fae lord just crashed through the door, and things are about to get ugly. Just as they'd figured out that the child's search for his mother was powering the whole Fae madness, things got a lot worse. Just as the Fae lord entered the room, I had everyone make a Resolve + Presence roll with a -3 penalty. George's player burned his last point of willpower and managed enough successes to stay unaffected. Ivy's player got 4 successes. Sharon's player burned a point of Willpower--and nothing.

Unspent: Fairly Faerie
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
Well, everything started going nutty. Completely loopy. Come to think of it, this would be the perfect soundtrack to what was happening in the game. And everyone decided that it was time to follow the little kid with the burlap sack, through all of the madness, as the Hedge began taking over the real world.

Unspent: Oh, the Insanity!
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
With a plan in hand, the group was ready to tackle the Fae menace, however they could. They were down a Jake and a Leona, but George had come back, and they all had a hunch that a lot of this focused around Rachel Strait, the poor woman who until now had been in the shadows. So Sharon went to find out where she was living...

Unspent: Hedge Trimming
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
Well, when last we left things, Joel had died in the theater, thanks to the shadows, and everyone was running. When they busted out of the school, Bryce offered his own take on things: the Hedge (the border of the Faerie realm) was bleeding over into reality itself. Then they got into the car, and George started trying to choke Bryce.

Unspent: Shadows Rising
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
So, you may really need to recap, because now we're diving into the next big bit of the story. Also, I am terribly sorry I haven't been on the ball...my posting seems to have dropped to one post every week or week and a half. Oops. At any rate, the whole group was just about to head off and investigate the theater, and then--Leona showed some reluctance. She didn't want to go...

Unspent: Dark Times
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
Aaaand, we have a previously-only-seen-once character, Joel, who I believe Leona mentioned as being one member of a Changeling group that stayed in touch across the country. He's shown up at the apartment, as Sharon uncovered word of some more of the Child's doings in the town. So, what does he want, and what help can he offer the group?

Unspent: The Child
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
At this point, we've had the second monster of the Unspent campaign rear its head, and I'm sorry that it took so long to get back to a recap. However, things are going along at a pretty good clip now. Hopefully, I can get things all caught up very soon. (Same for the other campaign...) Indeed, at this point, it's feeling like Unspent is approaching a conclusion, even if that's not very evident in the recaps yet.

Unspent: New Problems
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
After the crazy stuff happened at Bryce's apartment, everyone opted to stay the night at George's place. In the morning, Sharon got a call from one of her co-workers at the police station, saying that "weird stuff" was going on, that it was complete bedlam over there, with everything unraveling. She headed out to go see that, and then other people started to wake up.

Unspent: Cracks Strike Back!
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
So, things have been starting to get more complicated for the Unspent group, even as they finish the Angel arc. At the moment, they're starting to get involved with some interesting new characters, including Leona, whom they just got a phone call back from...

Unspent: A Tangled Web
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
Guess what? I'm going to start to pump up the frequency of my Unspent posts, and they might possibly be more caught up to the actual pace of the game, soon! Yay!! At any rate, we pick things back up with Ivy discovering that her tape recorder had been on and recording, something that she didn't remember doing. It was time to find out some very interesting stuff...

Unspent: Complications
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
When everyone got the mysterious warning to "run" (via Ivy's note...), they booked it. The cats were all around the church, so the statues didn't have a chance to move. The group went outside, and found an unoccupied police car. Sharon was able to confirm it as the Sheriff's car, based on the stuff inside. Uh-oh.

Unspent: Investigations
Here's a link to a listing of the Unspent posts, if you're a newcomer to this.
Well, everyone, time to get back to some recapping, especially because Unspent has gone a long way whilst we've left it. Last time, Bryce had given the players an offer of help, lending them the assistance of twenty cats, who really don't blink, and who can see in dim light. At long last, it was time to try and unravel what was behind the mystery of the Angels.

Unspent: Help Comes
So, the group was in the car with a crazy bum, somewhere around 40 years old. They'd just booked it away from St. Luke's Church, after quite the confusing little turn of events, again fleeing the Angels, who were looking healthier than ever. Now, it was time for them to recover, and decide exactly what to do next. They also wound up putting a bunch of pieces of the puzzle together...

Unspent: the Interview
Sorry on the late post here...but at least it's Tuesday!
Now that the group had been through another go-around with the church, gotten some research done in the library, and gotten a little scant bit of information from people in bars, it was time to get a fuller backstory. Sharon the forensic investigator decided to first go and conduct some tests on the wood she'd taken from a pew in the church (with the writing), and the others were going to meet with her later, to talk with Don Federo, the laicized priest who'd been the pastor of St. Luke's.

Unspent: Further Investigation
We resume our recap of the Unspent campaign with a recap of last week's session, which introduced a new player. Her character, Sharon, was a forensic investigator, who (as we're going to see) was very understandably skeptical of the goings-on at St. Luke's. The group wound up digging into the past of St. Luke's, uncovering some interesting dirt, and then went back for another investigation.

Unspent: St. Luke's Church
So, I've also recently started up a World of Darkness campaign for some friends over the phone, which is a vastly different medium than that of my other campaign (Dystopia and Giant Robots). I'm exploring a few different things here, including pitting the players against some very...unique critters. And, well, you'll have to see for yourself. This campaign is titled "Unspent", for reasons that will eventually become clear...
